Off-Campus Study in North America

The Career and Community Learning Center administers three off-campus study programs. They're open to all U of M, Twin Cities students. Click the names below to learn about the programs and everything they offer.

National Student Exchange (NSE)
Want to study in another part of the U.S. or Canada for a semester or a year? Sign up for the National Student Exchange program! You can earn credits toward your U of M degree while studying at another school. Choose from more than 550 majors/minors, including classes not offered at the U of M!

HECUA
HECUA allows you to study off-campus in the Twin Cities area. While you do, you'll focus on key social justice issues. Choose between focusing on the environment, arts, writing, or urban studies.

Philosophy Camp
This 4-week summer class is truly a unique experience. Students and instructors live simply and thoughtfully on peaceful Minnesota prairieland. You'll literally create the class together while you're there.
